I have had some experience with hiring organizers to help me with small projects. I am always grateful to have the opportunity to work with someone who loves organizing and helps me to the things I just don’t like doing sometimes. Irene helped me with numerous small projects: organizing kids bathroom, repurposing master sitting room into quiet retreat, organizing pantry, organizing family office/study room. I have several other projects I would use Irene to help me with after this!
For the kids bathroom: She organized bathroom for 4 kids, refined what was needed, gave each child dedicated drawer, purchased drawer and under bath organization items; helped clear the clutter off the counters and discussed with me how to use the new space
For the master sitting room, this was an unused area of our master bedroom that had a desk, some office supplies and random things in it and various items left over from a renovation to our master bath. She helped me clear things and go through all the bins. She helped me repurpose it into a quiet retreat for me and my husband to relax by adding some comfy reading chairs from our family study and moving the desk and other random things out. After a stressful season of life, she knew this is what my husband needed and made getting this room ready a priority. It really made a huge difference in his stress level having a quiet place to read and retreat.
For pantry, I left Irene for a couple hours and she went through my entire pantry and help me get rid of unnecessary items so I’d have more room. She categorized things according to use and size.
For the family office: I needed a spot for my 2 boys to do homework and give my husband his own spot to do work. We went through all the drawers in 3 large desks, gave my husband a desk spot, moved files around, labeled, everything, organized bookshelf that was a mess, swapped chairs out of the room and swapped in another desk to make a spot for the boys for homework.
Irene is completely professional. She knows my time is limited and she knows the ages of my kids and what each needs through each season of life because she’s a parent of teenagers. She was on time, kept focused (even when I sometimes got off track), communicated easily her goals and instructions during sessions and in-between sessions. She listened to my thoughts/ideas, but was firm to keeping on task (!!!!!), what items we should definitely donate/give away, etc. Irene also did the extra step of shopping for organizers if we needed them. She used what we had but suggested better ways of using them. Irene helped me get started/accomplish things that would have taken me 10 times longer doing them myself. She is trustworthy, an excellent listener, gives suggestions, but knows when to hold back. She really loves helping people and will see to it that the goals you have will be accomplished. I would highly recommend Irene to help you with whatever project you might have.
